Food Journal, Day 10

6:30 up, psyllium water

8:00 second workout at Portland Fit Body Bootcamp . The most sit ups I’ve ever done in my life. I think about 100 total, alternating with jump rope. I’ll be feeling that for sure.

40 oz of water so far

10:15 spinach, feta, shitake omelet

11:30 small handful of nuts on my way to a Beekeeping class at Zenger Farm. We learned about bee biology from Dewey Caron from OSU’s Master Beekeeping program.

2:00 small tuna stake on salad of lettuce, spinach, dandelion, miners lettuce and calendula, with avocado and dressing. Eaten mostly in the bee shed at Zenger Farm while we inspected most of the 9 hives there.

Jeff, Viridian and I inspected the green hive.

5:30 Dinner: out at Elephant’s delicatessen. Chicken Cesar salad with a sided of tuna salad a pickle and extra dressing. The way to get enough protein and fat in a prepackaged salad. 1 bottle of kombucha

Then we saw 1/2 of Howl’s Moving Castle on the big screen at NWFC’s studio Gibly special. In the middle the fire alarm went off and we all had to go out into the rain. Kind of intense, but V was delighted that we got to see two real fire trucks.

8:30 more bed and psyllium

9:30 to bed. I was exhausted by 9.
