Food Journal, Day 3

6:45 woke up. 6 hours of sleep, but feeling good.

Psyllium in a pint of warm water.

Water. I generally drink quite a bit 8+ cups a day. I’m probably not going to write it all down from now on, unless there is some particular reason.

7:00 Meditating to digest all the input from my previous day.

8:15 Breakfast :

1/2 frittata: 3 eggs, 1/2 cup leftover roasted root veggie, 1/2 cup crimini mushrooms, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp pasture butter, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (I don’t actually measure most of my food, just approximate quantities).

1 cup broccoli, 1/4 cup red saurkraut, dollop of sourcream

I only ate half of what I made. Being mindful of my body, that’s when I felt satiated. I know I’ll have the chance to snack in class later. Then I went for a little run on Mt. Tabor, which I’ve been wanting to do for some time, So nice before a day of sitting still.

11:30: 1 cup broccoli water, like tea after steaming the broccoli. Kind if sweet and mineral flavor, try it some time.

Feeling pretty good and relaxed in class. No urge so far to snack.

11:50 I cup lemon balm and linden tea.

1:00 burdock tincture

1:15 Lunch: rest of frittata and broccoli, red kraut, avocado, lettuce leaf wrap with quinoa and sourcream, small slice of apple, nut raw pie (apple, dates, walnuts, maple syrup, cinnamon)

2:45 1 cup lemon balm and linden tea

3:00 feeling tired, a little drowsy, some heat in my cheeks and constipated.

4:00 1 cup kombucha with chia, psyllium and vitamineral green

7:00 Dinner at Chabba Thai. A big plate of fish and veggies. I asked them to hold the rice and give me extra veggies. I really can’t remember the details right now as I am very tired. Two nights of not enough sleep and two long days of class has used up all my brain power.

10:30 Tiny, strained bowel movement.

11 pm to bed

more tomorrow.
